Beck's Brown Paper Bag Apple Pie Crust: 1 1/2 c. flour 1/2 c. oil 1 t. salt 2 T cold milk 1 1/2 t. sugar Combine above ingredients and pat into bottom and sides of 9 inch pie plate. Filling: 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 t. nutmeg 4 c. sliced apples 2T flour 1 t. cinnamon 1 t. lemon juice Combine above ingredients and pour into pie shell. Top with: 1 c. flour, 1/2 c. margarine or butter, 1/2 c. sugar. Mix together and sprinkle over apples. Place in brown paper grocery bag. Staple shut and bake at 350* for 1 1/2 hours. This is on of my all time favorite pies. It's especially good when you make it with Grandma's apples. :) We make it a lot and have shared it with lots of people. It's always a big hit! Home for the Holidays 2020

Hello Amazing Family! We are missing all of you over the holidays this year, but are thinking of you often! We thought that maybe we could make ourselves a virtual space where we can get together to share recipes and traditions and what we're up to. Please post as often as you like.
